Montgomery Field

In 2007, the state-of-the-art Montgomery Field (formerly Eastview Ballpark) was opened. With this renovation, a new all-weather turf infield was installed. The fourth generation XL Synthetic Field, which has a sand and rubber infill,  is self-contained and takes on recyclable rubber material excluding the need for metal or caustic material inside.

The field has an aquifer of eight inches of stone underneath that works as a filtration system, and allows the water to percolate and go through the tiling underneath all aspects of the field. Being an all synthetic field, this eliminates the need for fertilizers and mowing, reduces maintenance, and allows for cost savings across the board.
